On Sabbath, June 3, 2023, La Sierra University will be celebrating a special graduation ceremony "to honor" LGBT+ "students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the university." Even though the rest of the 2023 graduating class will not have their ceremony celebrated until Sunday, June 18, 2023, this Sabbath service is a special ceremony to recognize LGBT+ students.
